Artist In Action – Alex Noriega

Alex Noriega’s blog (Stuff No One Told Me) offers a series of comics depicting…well…stuff no one told him about life.  The wisdom he shares is a little unconventional, as is his delivery, but that’s what makes him so awesome!

Dealing With Job Orders

Job Orders (JOs) are awesome. Advertising agencies need them to survive -obviously. But that doesn’t mean JOs don’t drive us crazy! It’s nothing against the client. We love our clients! That’s why we want to come up with the best possible ads for them. Ads that sell product and generate brand awareness. It’s never really easy but we get it done. Some JOs, however, are pure evil.

Here’s how we deal:

Jodit Santander

This lovely comic post was illustrated by one of our interns, Jodit Santander. We’ll be introducing Jodit and other interns (Jessica and Jamilla) to you guys soon.

Artist In Action | Conrad Roset

The archaic meaning of “inspire” is “to draw breath”.  Perhaps the reason why it’s fascinating to watch artists in action is because seeing their process of creation creates something in you.  Your mind becomes pregnant with thought and eventually gives birth to new perceptions -which come to life through your own creations.  In that way, art is alive.  It is conceived by inspiration and becomes an inspiration in itself -in the same way that people are conceived by the life of another and are likewise needed to generate more of the same life forms.

Conrad Roset

Conrad Roset is an artist from Barcelona, Spain.  He finds inspiration in the female form.  This is him drawing breath to one of his muses -making them come to life with bursts of watercolor.
